The Kiwanis Club of Moncton Ltd. agreed to be their sponsor and the MSCC was sanctioned by the Nation Hot Rod Association and able to get insurance. The MSCC became incorporated as a non-profit organization.

Over the years they hosted drag racers from all over the Eastern USA and Canada.

They offered free Safety Inspections to the public at a local car dealership. In 1968 the NB Development Corp turned down their request to use the runway. The members then worked at dragstrips in Pennfield NB and Lower Sackville NS using the Chrondek Timing Equipment for several years.
