| HI, Best wishes with your Hall Of Fame. I joined the R C A F in 1953 and left Halifax . I rode and competed on motorcycles with the late, great Jack Canfield in /52 & /53 and returned to road race at Debert and Penfield Ridge ( I won the 76 mile Mac McConney Race in 1973 ) and raced A M P successfully in /74. I also raced with Jack many times there as Vintage in the early 2000s . |

I have photos of Scoudouc and Pennfield beginning in 1964 that I would love to share, and of construction of PEI Dragway. I'll bet there are lots of photos out there that the Hall of Fame would love to have. Any thoughts to a history of motorsports in the Maritimes?
Best of luck with the Hall of Fame.

Greetings from PEI to all motorsport enthusiasts! As the new MMHF Membership Registrar, I've been having a busy year, learning the requirements of this important volunteer position! My sincere thanks to Winona for all her guidance and assistance in this regard. The upcoming 4-Wheeler Fundraiser Dinner and Draw on April 19 in Petitcodiac sounds like a great time! My husband, Ron Hughes and I are really looking forward to attending. Hope to see you all there supporting this wonderful cause!

Let me at first say what a fabulous job the MMHOF team are doing in
regard to the web-site, promotions and of course the 1ST Class
events promoting the efforts of those who have dedicated themselves
to the pursuit of motorsports, speed and beauty. Your truly
professional approach to promoting all aspects of our Maritime
sports, show and racing heritage is very much commendable.
You've paved a fine foundation for the future. Congratulations
to all involved. It is considered a high honour for me, to
have become part of the history of motorsports in our wonderful
Maritime community. I wish you all well in your future
endeavours and thank you once again for making it possible.
